This was a very fun conversation about a ridiculously enjoyable film that is still far better and more insightful than most modern day biopics. We also realise it might be the first Nazi zombie film, another reason to be thankful for Ken Russell.

Has there ever been a Guardian article about horror written by anyone who actually likes it (that's not Mark Kermode)? Many dumb things about this particular one, not least the fact that Backrooms is hardly gory at all - it's arguably a horror film made for the people who claim horror is too gory!

Shout out to when Anthony Head heard that a trans guy was having some difficulties in his transition and was bummed out that all his photos with Anthony were of him pre-transition. So Anthony invited him out to his farm to take new photos and just kinda vibe for 5 hours being a cool dude.

Treated to myself to a few days of theatre ahead of my birthday. First show is Dracula starring Cynthia Erivo. She is brilliant as expected, it's a nippy adaptation and it's a very impressive production, but stylishly blending live performance and video makes the story less engaging. Still worth it
