When they got focused, tiny class sized attention, they responded really positively and improved quickly, but the school actually needs to invest in resources to do it, a single teacher can't do it alone. 110

She realized in her rural school that most of them were severely behind on reading and writing, pulled them out into remedial classes, and both groups improved quickly. 110
