midnight suns is not *entirely* a slay the spire like because of the tactical positioning element of your superheroes, but it has my favorite combat system probably of all of them. beat up the bad guys with your favorite heroes, start book clubs with blade, and engage in a super deep system.

Look, it's a cliche, but Final Fantasy VII. It wasn't my first game or even anywhere near it, but it WAS my first turn-based game, and it awakened a part of my brain that continues to define my gaming tastes to this day. (XCOM Enemy Unknown would provide a second mini-awakening 15 years later.)

Got the DNA Design upgrade cannon for 86 Megatron, it's a big improvement and I don't know why Hasbro didn't make it like this in the first place. Also comes with an upgrade sword thing which is also nice but doesn't have a 5mm peg so can't store anywhere.
