In a private discussion today this came up: “We need the January 6th Commission hearings, for DOGE.” One could do a lot with NIH and NSF alone. There are clinical trials that ended, patients that died, young people leaving the US… and bad stuff that happened inside the agencies.

Sen. Susan Collins helped steer millions in federal defense contracts to Navatek, whose CEO illegally funneled thousands of dollars to her campaign. The FBI sought to launch a probe and was eyeing Collins and other lawmakers. Then Trump gutted the unit in charge. THREAD 🧵

If you’re near LA, the Bay Area, or New York City, join a rally to demand our leaders stand strong against a Paramount-Warner Brothers merger. Oakland: www.mobilize.us/notabovethel... NYC: www.mobilize.us/notabovethel... LA: www.mobilize.us/notabovethel...
No Concessions.
Block the Merger.

Twelve state AGs sued to block Paramount's takeover of Warner Bros. We raised our voices about how this mega merger would lead to job losses, fewer creative opportunities, more censorship, and reduced free expression. In a stunning blow to Paramount, the AGs filed suit and a judge issued a restraining order.

Now we need to take action to make sure the Attorneys General stand strong!

RALLY WITH US!
• Oakland: 9/20 5pm @ CAAG Office, 1515 Clay St
• NYC: 9/21 9am @ NY AG' Office, 28 Liberty St
• LA: 9/22 10am @ WGA West HQ, 7000 W 3rd

Perfect. Thank you. did the same after I saw this.
Email: I’m an experienced GOTV volunteer who has knocked on doors in 3 counties over 2 decades, and until your recent statements, I was planning to do more for your campaign (once the weather was safe again). Your recent comments on trans rights are just incredibly disheartening.

My incredibly brave kid, M, started dressing more masculinely in our tiny East Texas town in 2016 (before it was cool!). Drum major of our lauded high school band, M got permission to wear the regular uniform for the band, not the girl one prior female drum majors had worn, and proudly led our 500-member band all over Texas. The experience was vital to becoming the joyful leader that M is today.

Today, adult M lives away from Texas because it’s even less safe for them here than it was back then. How can I tell them that I am working for a candidate who would make kids like them miss out on these foundational experiences?

I know what more Ken Paxton means, and you have my vote. But I have to answer to my loved ones and neighbors, and I think you should, too.
