Rep. Quigley and I led 41 of our colleagues in a letter calling on Secretary Rubio to work with Israel to ensure the release of Palestinian healthcare workers. They are arbitrarily being detained without formal charges or due process.

I’m joining @pocan.house.gov in fighting for the release of Palestinian healthcare workers in Gaza. Since the start of the war, Israel has arrested hundreds of essential healthcare workers, leaving civilians with no one to turn to.

It is nearly impossible to get asylum in Chicago. That’s not hyperbolic—it’s the reality the @chicago.suntimes.com found when they investigated.

It’s now nearly impossible to get asylum in Chicago immigration court
Asylum was historically hard to obtain but since Trump returned to office, a shake-up at immigration courts in Chicago and across the country has put judges under pressure to deny asylum petitions.
