That @nexusmods.com is unwilling to enforce any anti-AI stance makes me just never want to support them. They cannot even be pushed to mark mods made with AI. It's Artstation all over again. Just keep quiet, don't annoy the clankers. Don't make us loose modders and users. Don't enforce copyright.

I'm probably going to get muted or blocked for this, but as a fellow science communicator, using AI-generated imagery/text is really a bad look all around. It not only steals from your fellow scientists because it's all trained on stolen data, it also makes up fake science.

I cannot count anymore how often I had to ask if something was generated. So many YT channels (also in eco sciences), mods, shows and films and games are infected by slob. It feels like only old stuff is save now. And I hate it. I want stuff made by people for people.

Forced updates/weird mod support of Steam really pushes me of it. GoG doesn't force updates. And it's working on mod support. The last "crossplay" update for many TW titles just killed so many current campaigns of players because it breaks mods for nothing most players need. Same with Skyrim

Take a minute to really absorb the scale of what you're seeing. This is 'Cueva de los Cristales', the Cave of the Crystals, near the city of Naica in the Mexican state of Chihuahua. The crystals are selenite, a type of gypsum. They formed over the last 1 million years. (📷: Javier Trueba, MSF)
