Makes sense from their point of view. Without US treasury bonds working any longer and the whole US economy growth being GenAI it is no wonder they want to force everyone to use it. I's the only (albeit fruitless) hope to avert the big crash and fundamental reforms of the economic system.

I rather want to think about it this way: Humans are inherently empathetic, as we can see in studies, but it's the leeches of society, the powerful, the rich, that use it against everyone else. Regulate and tax the rich and powerful. History shows us that is possible and not even that long ago.

I'm probably going to get muted or blocked for this, but as a fellow science communicator, using AI-generated imagery/text is really a bad look all around. It not only steals from your fellow scientists because it's all trained on stolen data, it also makes up fake science.
