My greatest frustrating has been with policy wonks who persist in thinking we can just keep doing normal policy analysis ("calling balls and strikes") in this situation. The President of the United States is both lawless and out of his mind. That preempts all normal discussion.

Interesting juxtaposition. LLMs transferring their “confident wrongness” to users in domains where the error is not immediately evident seems like something we really need a social solve for. Maybe these knowledge gaps will close before too much damage is done? But then again, maybe not.
