Asking Dr Claude or Chatty G to write in “gov uk english” makes me about 100 times less angry with the slop
Example of Claude answering a question without the “gov uk english” prompt:

Structurally they are nearly the same thing: a starter pack record points to a list of accounts plus an optional set of feeds. The difference is what each is for.

Starter pack:
• An onboarding and recommendation tool: it is meant as a quick way to follow a group of users en masse.
• Can bundle up to 150 people and up to 3 custom feeds.
• The share link doubles as a sign-up invite for people not yet on Bluesky.

List:
• A reading or moderation tool: a curation list is for feeds and gating, a moderation list is for mutinga locking.Answer after using “gov uk english” prompt:

A starter pack and a list are both groups of accounts. They do different jobs.

Starter packs:
Use a starter pack to follow a group of accounts in one go.

A starter pack can include:
• up to 150 accounts
• up to 3 custom feeds

You can share a starter pack with a link.

People who are not on Bluesky can use the link to sign up.

Lists:
Use a list to read posts from a group of accounts, or to mute or block them.

Three cards titled "The Industry", "The Diagnosis" and "The Treatment". The industry creates devices that need constant attention, designs services that never finish, and builds products that generate obligations. The diagnosis: you're addicted, you lack self-control, you need to unplug. The treatment: focus modes, wellness apps, digital detoxes, screen time limits — all of which are more products that need you.

Seen near Holborn Station, on the route of the Unite the Kingdom rally. When the scapegoats are gone, the borders are fortified, and the hatred has done its damage, the cost of living will still rise, the NHS will still be dying, and corporate vultures will still be picking our lives apart.
A red text-based public artwork by Frank Riot displayed in a JCDecaux advertising panel outside Holborn Station in London, UK. The poster reads: “When you’ve got rid of all the mosques but the costs of life still rise and you’ve built your fortressed borders but the NHS still dies and the Muslims are all gone and your town’s a wall of white but corporate vultures are still pillaging every facet of our lives who will you blame then? What will you have gained? A badge for barbarism against a backdrop of decay.” Pedestrians walk past the bus shelter on a busy city street.
