I appreciate this article's point on thinking more fluidly about narrative structure and how multiple forms can map onto the same story. And Jane Alison's book is indeed mind-opening; personally, it helped me to realize my current novel-in-progress is best served by a spiral narrative. 💜

Surfacing on bsky briefly to say that a total ban on the "LGBT movement" was enacted in the Russian Federation. It was moving that way with a series of increasingly harsh laws. This is very bad. Bad for the people still hanging in there somehow, bad for the world, a fearful blueprint for others.
