I don't consider myself a late transitioner, I transitioned precisely on time. I just wish I'd transitioned precisely on time a lot earlier. Either way, probably wouldn't have been able to do it without the support and love of a bunch of other precisely-on-time-with-late-characteristics peeps.

At one (substantialish) part of my life, I used heroin instead of (or as a substitute for) SSRIs. SSRIs, when I've been on them, have improved my life dramatically. Heroin, rather less so.

I should point out that ULTIMATELY OVERALL, despite quite a number of issues, this was a positive experience.
