I want Canada to win, but they seem to excel in miscommunication / tactic mismatch. So many bad passes or crosses sent to no other teammate around to receive it. Morocco's 2nd goal started with Canada passing to no one turning it over...

There’s nothing like a summer night with the World Cup on. Knowing that you’ll get to watch world class soccer every night at 5:00 or 6:00 or 7:00 or 11:00 or sometimes 6:30 or 9:30 and on weekends 8:00 and sometimes multiple of those is truly unparalleled.

Elana Meyers Taylor. Wins medals in 4 Olympics (bronze in 2010, silver in 2014/18/22) In 2020 & 2022, she has kids. Both have special needs. She lives on the road with them, flying around the world for months at a time to compete in bobsled. And THEN! At 41! She wins her first gold. American hero.

"I thought it would get much easier as they got older and it has not," Meyers Taylor, 41, said at the USOPC media summit in October. "Bigger children, bigger problems. Now that they're both walking, they're both up. They don't want to sit on planes, they don't want to stay still. They don't want to sit for meals or anything like that. So it is absolute chaos."
