Travis Baldree's books always find me when I feel fragile and need the safety & warmth of a hug. Recently, I read Brigands and Breadknives — 3d book from the Legends & Lattes series. 1/2 💙📚 #booksky #fantasy #books #reading

Excited to start writing my next Twine game 🎉 First draft of the opening passage, so forgive any typos, repetitive worlds and other imperfections. #NarrativeDesign #GameWriting #Twine #games
A screenshot of a Twine passage called "The Beginning". It says: You crouch behind a trea as a projectile swishes by your ear. Smoke tickles your nostrils, cries echo in the air, and your head swims in the sweltering heat of a burning forest. It hurts as if your own body were burning, even though the flames haven't touched your skin yet.

As you lean your forehead against the trunk and inhale its rich aroma, your mind intermingles with the mind of the tree, signals of pain and panic traveling up its roots from the vast network below.

You bite your lip until it bleeds, as tears stream from your eyes. Your sole purpose in life has been to protect the Forest, but you have failed.

The Free People's Village is a badass story about music, love & resistance. Tragic & raw, real, even though happening in an alternative timeline, it was an emotional journey that left a big impression on me 💙📚 alinaleonova.net/blog/the-fre... #booksky #SciFibooks #reading #BookReview #LGBTQBooks

Happy Holidays, everyone! 🙌🏽✨ This Is How Immortals Die, Book 1 of the World Without Love series: www.amazon.com/This-Immorta... My art is still very much in its beginner stages, but I'm also sharing a piece I'm proud of 💜 Website: nicolehidalgoauthor.com
The heavenly beautiful face of a woman (Aphrodite herself), a tear sliding down her only visible eyes, her hair flowing and blending in with the star-studded dark blue and purple cosmos behind her.

The author's name, Nicole Hidalgo, is on top, while the title, This Is How Immortals Die, sits at the bottom. Some letters are stylised as Greek letters.A three-quarter portrait of Ashrah. Datusha rests on her right shoulder (the one farthest from the viewer), casting its soft blue light on a small portion of her face, leaving the rest in shadows.

We know that mobility in cities is about space. More specifically, more trips in less space. We’ve seen lots of great images reinforcing that point. This one might be my favourite, from #Santiago, because it ALSO shows the inequality of having buses run in mixed traffic. Dedicated bus-only lanes.
Side by side images from a Santiago street, showing the relatively few people accommodated in a street full of cleaned cars, and the number of people in a full Santiago bus in that same gridlock.
