Perhaps the electoral miscalculation that both Reform and Restore are making is that they haven’t branded themselves as actual Nazis. It does seem that they are missing the obvious here. The appetite for jackboots is at an all-time high. And the BBC would certainly continue to have their backs.

The trade unions have got this one absolutely wrong, and it's *so* dangerous that Labour's not able to see the bigger picture on this one. Union concerns that a future government could use this to come for union funding to parties is legitimate – *but that will happen anyway*.
