A great match signified by how many times I winced watching it 😬 I still think Drew should have gone over 😕 But brilliant effort by both guys 👏🏽 👏🏽

#MUFC won the title in those years despite frequently paying significantly less than rivals: • 2006-07: 33% less than Chelsea • 2007-08: 45% less than Chelsea • 2008-09: 35% less than Chelsea • 2010-11: 9% less than Chelsea • 2012-13: 29% less than Man City

Many examples of Sir Alex Ferguson's genius but if we're to boil it down to money (because, well, everything else is these days) perhaps his most impressive achievement is in his final 10 years #MUFC were not the highest wage payers in PL once, yet they won the league five times

In fact, these are scenes we have not seen on British streets. Immigration needs to be deal with, I will be the first to say that and we are dealing with it. The boat crossings have been halved since six years ago, net migration is down massively.

Statement - Gavin Bazunu

Representing my country means everything to me. I have the utmost respect for every single one of my team mates, the Manager, his staff and the Irish people

However I have reached a decision that I have hot taken lightly. I am a man of strong faith and try my best to be a person of character and principle therefore 1 feel it would be wrong to participate in the upcoming fixtures against Israel.

My decision is based purely upon my personal belief that the killing of innocent people is wrong.

It is important to note that my stance is not in opposition of the Israeli people or the Jewish community but against the atrocities in the region.

There are few times where you get a chance ir ife to stand up for something bigger and strongly believe that this is one of them

It'll take another five years for the punishment but just to say Manchester City cheated for their success will be enough embarrassment for the club's owners, players and fans. It'll be a points deduction for every year, a transfer ban and a heavy fine. PL haven't the balls to do more severe imo

Ultimately, good underlying numbers don’t count for much without conversion. Carrick is trying to change Utd to a possession based team but needs something tangible to kick start the season.

michael deacon continues his valiant quest to be britain's unfunniest man
After Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the co-owner of Manchester United, controversially suggested that mass immigration may have had one or two drawbacks, and that an annual welfare bill of £353bn may be a touch on the high side, the Man Utd Muslim Supporters’ Club demanded he resign. A dramatic development. I’ve got just one question.

Why do Man Utd have a Muslim supporters’ club?

Obviously there’s nothing wrong with Muslims supporting Man Utd. Unlike pork, alcohol and being married to more than four women at once, the 13-time FA Cup winners are not considered haram.

What I don’t understand is the purpose of a Muslim supporters’ club – and I would say exactly the same about, say, a Man Utd Buddhist Supporters’ Club, or a Man Utd Zoroastrian Supporters’ Club. Because I simply can’t see a link between football and any given religion.

So what is such a club for? Do its members meet up to discuss their team’s tactics from a theological standpoint?

“The Koran leaves no room for doubt. It is Allah’s will that we switch to a back three with attacking wing-backs.”

“Sacrilege! The divine formation is 4-2-3-1, and eternal damnation awaits the infidel who dares propose the use of a false nine instead of a traditional centre-forward!”

The problem with the match earlier is that there were very few patterns to even offer any hope. The goal itself was a fluke. There was no intensity to our play until the final 10-15 minutes. Sorely lacking in many areas. And then he brings on Sideshow Bob for one of our better players. #MUFC
