@dljadow.bsky.social You know what thought that post gave me? To go watch Alita Battle Angel - the final film under the 20th Century umbrella before they were absorbed into Disney.

@dljadow.bsky.social Have you managed to get that or only Smash Wii U? I know Smash 3DS has a mode based on the City Trial mode from Kirby Air Ride. Smash Wii U instead has a Mario Party-esque boardgame mode widely regarded as godawful.

So I sadly see comments on social about the "controversy" that Gears of War E-Day features pride flags. If being inclusive is a "controversy" to you, you need to rethink your priorities. FFS

The Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door includes its own fictional language that is a cipher for English. Amusingly, the misspelled "Game Cuve" graffiti from the original version is translated into the new language... but still reads "Game Cuve" when deciphered.

The Nintendo Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door contains an in-universe language used for signs and labels that is a cipher (i.e. a one-to-one symbol conversion) for English.
Textures that were in English or unreadable in the original (left) are translated into the cipher in the remake (right). The remake's poster reads "Wanted" and the signboard reads "Signboard".
A famously misspelled "Game Cuve" graffiti appears in Rogueport in the original.
In the remake, it can be seen through this arch from the back.
Analyzing it reveals that it is still misspelled! The designers deliberately kept the misspelling in the translation.
Here is the key to the cipher used.

I have now watched every Hellraiser movie except the 2022 reboot. It’s such an interesting franchise to me because after Bloodline it took relatively interesting script ideas and concepts and shoved Pinhead into them when it made no sense to do so. I know it was to maintain IP rights but still.

As most of my Doc Ock art is based on Spider-Man 2, I thought to show some love to No Way Home Ock with a very simple practice animation! I focused mostly on practicing animating Flo & Mo's movements/experiment more with layers/work on stabilizing lineart too! Had fun with it though! 8D

@dljadow.bsky.social I have been playing the fanmade PC port of the Xbox 360 version of Sonic Unleashed and, something you cited in your review of the PS2/Wii version, that game has absolutely terrible pacing given how disproportionate in length the daytime and nighttime levels are.

@dljadow.bsky.social @femshepliara96.bsky.social As promising as the movie looks, isn't it odd that it gets made before the introduction of this universe's Batman, or how is it meant to be relevant in future events?

@dljadow.bsky.social Basically rendered the post credit scene of Blade as moot. What are the odds that Eternals (along with the lowest points of the MCU, Quantumania and Inhumans) to be ignored in the new universe after Secret Wars?
