I think it’s so interesting how women are said to be mentally ill if she stands up for herself or in any way violates expectations but a guy who just fucking sucks is assumed to have a trauma disorder to excuse his character flaws when convenient and it’s not a liability whatsoever for him

Since 1980, under the Thatcherite policies, 2.8m social homes sold, 1.9m in England for £51bn. In 2024, England homes were worth £430bn. Councils didn't receive full sales proceeds, couldn't replenish housing stock. Vital depts closed. Social homes down from 6.8m to 5.4m. Huge housing crisis.

This is typical fare for anti diagnosis thinking. People think that it is wrong to “label” children, but they don’t know how messy genetics is, nor how it does affect children in a disastrous educational system, where conformity is valued over everything else.

This proves how entrenched eugenics are in the legal system. People with learning disabilities are canon fodder for politicians - inconvenient, a nuisance. Lock them up and throw away the key is the prevailing attitude.

Yesterday I had a telephone appointment with a GP for a referral for a medicine review for Lisdexamphetamine meds. I haven’t had one since Dec 2023. GP didn’t want to prescribe meds I have been on for 7 years, but I advocated for myself. Getting my meds tomorrow.
