Hate it when my friend traps me under a cup then slides a piece of paper under it and throws me outside. Do you have any idea how long it took me to get into your house?

A mum comforts her little boy on the bus. He is crying about something. She says, ‘It’s ok. Have a good cry.’ Man nearby: Well done. We’re so bad at letting boys just feel sad.

I slept on Clipse's album Let God Sort Em Out from last year. You could be forgiven to sleep on much of modern music. But this one – produced by Pharrell Williams – is such an instant joy that I am glad to have righted that wrong.

A digital illustration of a version of the big board from Wheel of Fortune. An array of green rectangles (each bearing an icon of a hand with crossed fingers inside a circle with rays), and white rectangles that indicate the letters in the secret phrase contestants are trying to guess. The board is not yet solved and reads like this:

M_YB_ I_
_ILL H_PP_N
__D_Y

Standing next to the board in a shiny pink and maroon evening gown and ready to turn around newly-guessed letters is a woman whose head is a human hand with crossed fingers.

Below the board in the space where viewers at home are informed what type of phrase is in play it simply reads ‘PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE’

A digital illustration based on a photo of Lori Winston, the June 1964 Playboy Playmate of the Month. The drawing is rendered in heavy pencil outlines and flat planes of color with colored pencil hatching. Lori is shown reclining by the low steps of a swimming pool, leaning back propped up with her arms behind her. One leg is bent and the other fully extended out for the leg enjoyers. She's turning her head toward the camera with a coquetteish tilt and smile. Her auburn hair is gathered up on her head in a distinctly 1960s way. She is wearing a white t-shirt that covers her down to the top of her thighs and no evidence of any other articles altho you could show this to your grandma and she wouldn't blink. Very chaste. In the bottom right corner under one of Ms. Winston's hands is some orange marker-style script lettering reading 'Maybe it will happen today'.
