Hyperlink text should make sense when read out of context. Screen reader users can navigate from link to link, and can listen to links in a list. When navigating this way, only the link is read. So "click here" or "read more" won't make sense.

This is where we are now. Good luck out there!
This is a course in the sociology of the family as an institutional arena in the United
States. Students will become familiar with the empirical patterns and trends, political
and cultural debates, and policy issues concerning families - and the major theories
and research methods used in the sociological study of the family. The readings
include a textbook and a memoir. To succeed, students will attend lecture and
participate in discussion; complete quizzes, and in-class writing assignments; and
midterm and final exams; and an interview project.

. Please note that our classroom will be device-free -- including phones, tablets, and
laptops -- except as arranged in advance with Accessibility & Disability Services. We will
have extensive, graded, in-class writing with pen or pencil on paper (which you need to
bring to class), including quizzes and short essays. Less than 10% of the grade will be
based on writing outside of class. Details are below.
