I don't dislike all Christopher Nolan films but I do believe Christopher Nolan is perhaps the most overrated director. Even the movies of his that I like are just like, yeah it was good but not great. I barely think about it. The Batmans were his best work. This is, presumably, a super hot take.

Everyone is so weird about New York. Like, you never see people say "This movie is a love letter to the Pacific Northwest" or "This movie is a love letter to Chicago" or "This movie is a love letter to Tokyo." There are hundreds of things that are "Love letters to New York." WHY. It's creepy.

I didn't check all my favorites but checked the ones most likely to be under 25%. Dracula: Dead and Loving It, 3000 Miles to Graceland, Mr. Deeds, The Adventures of Ford Fairlane and Monkeybone all hit below 25%. I'd say of those ones, my favorite is probably Mr. Deeds. So sorry about that.
