You don’t even have to be mates if you have something in common. I remember going to a Spurs v Brighton game where someone started making homophobic comments. Someone behind told him to shut up. He turned around, expecting the rest of the crowd to be on his side, and they were not. He shut up.

"Does your process knowledge, all that non-digitized stuff that doesn’t show up in training data that you learned from living as a human being in the messy sticky fuzzy-edged physical world, tell you something different from what the AI “analysis” is telling you?"
So here’s how I would urge you all to celebrate Stanislav Petrov Day this year. Remember the example of the man who disobeyed orders to ignore what the cutting-edge computer system was telling him to do, and saved untold millions of lives in the process. Whatever an AI is telling you, whether it’s a warning of a national security threat or a business “efficiency” recommendation or healthcare “cost-saving” or personal “communication tips,” do not trust it unreservedly. Do not let yourself become a meat-puppet for unthinking software because it’s easier in the short run. Do not take irreversible actions, especially actions putting life at risk, due to AI guidance.

Disobey, always, rather than do something barbarous.

The head teacher stood up and announced the school was in quarantine. A couple of kids had tested positive for something contagious and we’d be stuck in the school for at least a week. There were gasps, some kids were in tears. This was pre-mobile phones so we couldn’t contact anyone.

great journalism by Devon Live here, noting very fairly that the idea that traffic lights can emit death rays has not been independently established
The group also disputes the suggestion that the equipment is simply used to detect pedestrians or assist with traffic flow.
According to the Blade Runners, the devices can "kill humans when focusing on a target"
However, the medical and technological claims made by the group have not been independently established and remain allegations made by the Blade Runners.

Three panel comic. Panel 1: a horseshoe crab watches as a variety of prehistoric creatures swim towards an ethereal light. An ammonite calls back to the crab, “come on, horseshoe crab! We’re all evolving!” Panel 2: the horseshoe crab stays in position and replies, “nahh that’s crazy” Panel 3: the horseshoe crab is superimposed in front of a future premonition: a rather miserable-looking human slouched in the glow of a desktop computer. The horshoe crab swims away and says, “good luck tho”
