Wife and I got a new dog today. A rescue who has spent 2 yrs of his 2.5 in the city animal shelter. He still acts out puppy stuff, and is scared all the time we're gonna take him back. You can see it in his eyes. I'll be busy for a while trying to put him back together. Beautiful Dalmatian x.

Popped over to RSPB Lodmoor for an evening check out of what looked to be a good call by @davidturner1967.bsky.social for a Purple Heron there earlier in the day and treated to bizarrely fabulous views when after an hour or more of looking it suddenly appeared almost directly overhead!
