Watching and listening to Common Scoters on the coast the other day reminded me of another flock of #nocmig birds over #salopobs last week, the same night as a Turnstone, garden tick 💥153💥 our 20th species of wader! #ukbirding

Finally! After hearing dozens over this amazing summer and thinking I'd missed my chance now that drought and harvest have pushed them further north, I managed to see a #Quail this morning as it shuffled around in the stubble with the Corn Buntings. Brilliant! #yorkshirebirding #ukbirding
