At a basic level, we need more pace & physicality in the pack and backline, move to a split playmaker system (two #10s) rely less on the scripted pod play off set piece launches. Less narrowly defined roles and the value on ruck output with most of the 30+ crew in bench roles.

All Six Nations, Ireland have been excellent defending teams in the 22 on multiple phases. Scotland actually did better in this regard than most, but it cost them a lot to resource. Ireland had fewer rucks, a lower kick-to-pass ratio, and were more efficient. It took Scotland too much effort.

Statement performance from Crowley, in an excellent Irish performance. Scotland seemed to get their approach wrong here, again, and had no idea what pressures this Ireland team. Ireland stopped and slowed Scotland all day long in the carry, everything was slow and hard work.
