Media doesn't just boost it. Media creates it. Farage gets more airtime than almost any other party leader. Anything he utters is a news story. He has more airtime than Ed Davey when Reform have 8 MPs and the LDs have 71. The SNP get less airtime than anything Farage utters. It's a media problem.

As someone who doesn't really believe in the monarchy etc I think the fair thing to do would be to strip people of their titles if they emigrate from the UK. Like at least make the titles mean you need to have a relationship with the UK. All these wealth hoarders emigrating to Monaco etc
