We know it doesn't. We know it's a program that takes input and produces output on demand and only on demand. The question assigns evenly the ability to "do it" to your fantasy machine and to "the current types of models." But "doing it" means something entirely separate for each of these things.

Judging from the replies, you're trying to assign a machine some degree of sentience and agency, and then ask "how is this machine's attempt to be an artist any different than llms today." This fundamentally assumes the llm also has some degree of sentience and agency, just less.
