Kara Buchanan 🏳️⚧️ @magicariot.com · 10/02/2025writing is hard because you flip back and forth between "I am a literal fraud and this book will never be completed" and "I am a literary sex goddess and this book will earn me the affections of seven comely lasses" or maybe that's just me idk 211257117
🇨🇦Cristabel🇨🇦 @cristabel.bsky.social · 10/02/2025I’m a floral designer and I feel ya. I even feel this way about the same piece sometimes! Like this bouquet I hated at first but love it in the photos. 030
Jenn F Craft isn't here @jenncraftfantasy.bsky.social · 10/02/2025Me af! Sometimes my confidence in my worlds and characters makes me feel like I'll become an overnight celebrity after my first book and making enough money to quit my day job. Other times, I wonder if I'm even good enough to spend time beta reading for, much less publishing. 140
Sydney Bauer @sydney-bauer.com · 11/02/2025I’ve been nominated for literal awards and I was convinced applying would just be a way for powerful people in the industry to laugh at me and see how bad I am. 030
Evan Fritz @efritz.bsky.social · 10/02/2025The story I'm working on, I go back and forth between thinking "this is literary gold" and "this is a horrible pile of cringe that everyone is going to hate". So no, it's not just you lol 070

Dax, sapphic fantasy author @daxaeterna.ink · 10/02/2025It's not just you. I routinely contemplate de-listing all of my books b/c they aren't good enough to sell and I'm cheating people out of their money by charging for my books when really I should be paying people to put up with my drivel But also, Magica Riot brought me joy and comfort, so thank you 1120

Fray ~ 🎃 Dragoness @dragontragedian.bsky.social · 11/02/2025Not just you at all~! I've got myself on a weekly chapter release schedule but only like 1-3 days a week are very productive? I've got word count days. Days those words stew. Days I am IN LOVE WITH MYSELF. And days my writing might as well be radioactive. We make the most of each day we can. 💖✨ 010
