Rodger Sherman @rodger.bsky.social · 25/01/2026the Patriots are going to the Super Bowl because the other team's backup QB dropped 20 yards behind the line of scrimmage and chest-passed the ball backwards 2046552
Ed Sweeney (d.b.a. Knobby Burton) @knobbyburton.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Don't forget the Broncos dumb coach going for a TD on 4th and 1 instead of just kicking a FG and going up 10-0. Don't let that bozo off the hook. If I were a Broncos fan, I'd be pissed. 180
missscarlett22.bsky.social @missscarlett22.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Nah, that's not why. In large part it's because the Bronco's coach made the ill-advised decision not to kick a field goal when he had the chance. Stidham exceeded expectations; Payton's arrogance got in the way. 020
Buchman @buchman.bsky.social · 25/01/2026And at the end of the half he also rolled out on 3rd down and ran out of bounds to lose yards making the fg longer. If Stidham can throw the ball away, the Broncos win. 000
Lexa (he/him) @criminallyvu1gar.bsky.social · 25/01/2026They had the best injury luck all season. All 4 CC teams were top 5. Winning a Super Bowl is mostly luck. 000
ttviskari.bsky.social @ttviskari.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Hey, you can only win against the teams you are playing. On a more serious note, I know that the Pats have little chance of winning the SB, but this has been such a turnaround that I am euphoric about my team just going there. 160
joemamatee.bsky.social @joemamatee.bsky.social · 25/01/2026The Patriots are going to the Super Bowl because of a superior defense today 060
Scott Spratt @scottspratt.bsky.social · 25/01/2026And that was one of the best teams the Patriots faced this season 160
jokercowgarage.bsky.social @jokercowgarage.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Talking about the Broncos or the Texans? 010
Marc Normandin @marcnormandin.bsky.social · 25/01/2026They tell you not to do that at quarterback school but not everyone listens 010
Just Another Perfect Day @lakers-lover.bsky.social · 25/01/2026Also how does a Denver team not have a better plan on how to deal with snow 010
Rob Luker @rluker.bsky.social · 25/01/2026That and one of the softest schedules ever known to the league 121
Chad Nevett @chadnevett.bsky.social · 25/01/2026I'd argue it's because Payton didn't take the field goal to go up 10-0. 1320
