I wonder what expensive bauble Barry Bonds threw at the wall when he heard the news.

And also somehow made Bonds seems friendly and likable by comparison.

One day, I believe baseball writers will get their heads out of their asses about all this. I just hope it happens when Bonds is alive to see it. They’re probably 20-30 years older than him, so here’s hoping.

The best Giants lineup of that time was Kent - Bonds - Ellis Valentine, when he was healthy. Bonds protected Kent, and EV made folks pay for walking Bonds.

Also, picking Jeff Kemp over Dale Murphy is nasty business

Given that Bonds and I have the exact same legitimate MLB stats, makes sense that he's not getting consideration

And he showed all the same symptoms that have kept Bonds out. He suddenly became a power hitter after arriving in the Bay. He was a massive jerk. Why wasn’t he suspected of steroids?

Bonds was en route to be one of the greatest of all time. And he still decided to cheat. And cheaters shouldn’t make the Hall.
