I’ve written to my Labour MP every week since April 2025 asking to meet him about their bathroom ban and segregation rules and I just now got a boilerplate reply that didn’t address anything I said. Feeling very Normal about this👌

Set up an automatic template and send one every single day. Change the date, of course, and maybe add a different salutation every day of the week on rotation. Because clearly once a month isn’t enough. I hate this for all of us.

Do they run (they should) surgeries for constituents? If you can find the times of these from their secretary you can just turn up. I had the misfortune of having to talk to Steve Barclay at a constituent surgery a few years back before boundary changes (when he was Health Secretary 😱)

Standard practice. I had the same when I wrote to Lisa Nandy about the damage Brexit was causing and her refusal to acknowledge it. My partner got a very similar letter from her on a completely different matter. She addressed none of our concerns.
