I've been trying a couple of streaming platform alternatives today — Twitch letting Amazon use my content to train genAI without my permission is *utterly* abhorrent to me as a creator. stream.place seemed interesting but quiet. I might actually go for a friend's smaller, more fun, boutique site.

Age verification? My first computer loaded from cassette tape. Sometimes. When it worked. Usually didn’t first time. You might have to get out a little screwdriver, adjust the head, or move the volume 0.1mm. I still have it. Trying to load a game the old way is a great rose-tinted nostalgia cure.
