Watched "The End of the Tour", and I loved Jason Segel's portrayal of David Foster Wallace. A good quote was him saying to the other lead, "I'm just trying to find out if you're a good guy or not." That's kinda how I approach everyone. Probably why I don't have a lot of other dude friends.

My good friend/old roommate is leaving NOLA with his parents and entering hospice care after a tough battle with cancer. We had a farewell get together at our favorite LGD bar and it was very nice. I've been pretty devastated all week and didn't think I could manage, but everyone being there helped.

researchers are at the forefront of using AI to advance new energy
technologies, revolutionize cancer treatment, reconsider art history by
illuminating hidden creative networks, and help public health professionals
