I've "made myself" stay single for the last couple of years and I've been the happiest, most relaxed person ever. When you learn to love who you really are, it is hard to imagine someone else filling that space. Maybe when I finish some things next year I'll be open to dating, but enjoy your life!

Watched "The End of the Tour", and I loved Jason Segel's portrayal of David Foster Wallace. A good quote was him saying to the other lead, "I'm just trying to find out if you're a good guy or not." That's kinda how I approach everyone. Probably why I don't have a lot of other dude friends.

Sleeping quilt/bag hybrid arrived...and after about $1000 spent I now have my Appalachian Trail shelter setup complete. Insane that this all fits easily in a backpack, so much more room than I expected. Smoky Mountains in February will be a real test.
