The Burlingame incident wasn’t “triggered by an 11-year-old riding an e-bike”. The teen driver who was found at fault failed to yield when exiting a parking lot, cut off the ebike rider then sped onto the sidewalk across the street. Your piece doesn’t refer to the driver at all, only the “SUV”.

“Lawmakers introduced the proposal after two children in the county died in separate e-bike accidents, including 4-year-old Ayden Fang. Last year, an SUV struck Fang in Burlingame in a chain-reaction accident triggered by an 11-year-old riding an e-bike.”

Over the past several years the Mission has been colonized by pigs with money. Yuppie scumbags have crawled out of their haunts on Union Street and the suburbs to take our neighborhood away from us. They go to restaurants like The Slanted Door and Ti-Couz and bars like Skylark and Liquid. They come to party, and end up moving in to what used to be affordable rental housing. They help landlords drive up rents, pushing working and poor people out of their homes.
Now Buffy and Chip are moving into "lawyer lofts" built by real estate speculators in the Mission's northeast corner, further gutting our neighborhood.
This yuppie takeover can be stopped and turned back. We can drive these cigar-bar clowns back to Orinda and Walnut Creek where they belong. How?:
VANDALIZE YUPPIE CARS
LEXUS - PORSCHES - JAGUARS SPORT-UTILITY VEHICLES
--BREAK THE GLASS
--SCRATCH THE PAINT
-SLASH THEIR TIRES AND UPHOLSTERY

Blowtish Sushi, on Bryant near 20th, brings rich pigs to the Mission, and offers nothing to working and poor people here. It's a nest of cell-phone yuppies and upper-middle class privilege.
The
Mission will be a better place when Blowfish Sushi has been blown out of the water.
Circadia is a Starbucks at Mariposa and Bryant, where virtual humans surf the Internet all day while slurping $7 coffee drinks.
The Starbucks corporation set aside $1,000,000 just to furnish Circadia with antique furniture.
The place hasn't turned a profit yet, and with the
right kind of discouragement we can make them go away.
Circadia is located in a complex next to offices owned by the Robert Cort family, a leading force behind Mission gentrification.
Robert Cort, Jr. is a thirty-something commercial real estate owner who stillives with his mommy and daddy at 757 3rd Ave. in the Richmond.

There are other businesses that need to be targeted - use your imagination.
