I want to make this post because we are continuing to see heated discussion/snide comments/etc on the topic of AI. It has become a real problem.
So to make it clear: no AI discussion is allowed. Do not mention AI, MTL, or other related topics. Not in this forum, or any other RGT forum.

Neither Pro-AI nor Anti-AI. We're not taking sides here.
In the same way religious discussion is not allowed on RGT, AI discussion is not going to change anyone's mind and its just going to cause endless arguments.
This simply isnt the place for it.

So keep your opinions on AI-assisted translations, etc to yourself.
Personally, I think nobody should be able to discern whether you are pro- or anti-AI based on your post. If someone can discern that, based on your post, then your post probably violates Rule 11 and may be deleted.

Experimental post: The Duality of Whacka In the Switch version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, Whacka can finally be fought, and has a suspiciously specific 108 HP. The game both offers a ridiculously simplistic explanation for this as well as a complex one steeped in Dharmic symbolism.

In Paper Mario, the original version of Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door, and Super Paper Mario, Whacka was just a harmless whack-a-mole creature that could be abused to get Whacka Bumps, extremely valuable healing items. After being hit enough times, the Whacka goes extinct, teaching the players the consequences of their actions. However, in the Switch version of Paper Mario: TTYD, he instead moves to the bottom of the Pit of 100 Trials and becomes an optional superboss with 108 HP.
He is fought at the bottom of the Pit of 100 Trials and has to be hit 8 times in order for the fight to activate.

WXIII Patlabor 3. seems to have a reputation for being "worse" than the second movie but i thought the moment-to-moment action in this movie was better. it's not *that* much worse than 2. no cuttingly prescient message about modern warfare but it has some interesting ideas about love and grief.
