They do. I'm GenX and my gen is split, but I'm one of the ones who had it harder than my Silent Gen parents. And my GenZ kid has it so hard that we moved to EU so he'd have a shot. Lucky we can do that bc of European g'parents. It's harder here now than it was, too, but better than in the US.
