In part of my ongoing quest to introduce the girls to tv they wouldn't normally see, I prewatched the first episodes of Transformers Cyberverse, Animated, and Armada, so I could find the most appropriate, engaging, entertaining one to introduce them to. (I knew G1, Prime, and Earthspark already.)

Excellent coverage of this 3 1/2 hour hearing. One thing that Chris didn't mention though, that I'm going to point out. During the rebuttal, the question was asked, doesn't separation of powers run both ways? And shumate never explicitly acknowledged it.

So this is a bit of a hail mary. I have two heavily used carseats. I am getting rid of them. Target is doing a thing where if you trade in a carseat this week they give you a 20% off coupon on something baby related (carseat, stroller, etc.) Problem is, they put it on your Target account.

We watch tv with dinner. Because we need the girls' brains not to rot, we've set up a system. Fri-Sat they can watch whatever (which rn is generally bingeing our way through Elena of Avalor), Sun we watch all or part of a movie, and Mon we either finish the movie or, if it's done, more whatever.

OK I've been wondering. I actually like the idea of smart glasses. What I don't like is the camera. Is there such a thing as smart glasses that don't have a camera? Where I can basically have a heads up display without invading everyone's privacy? I don't mean one where you can turn it off.

This does raise a fascinating question. Can the President ban any members of the press from the WH because their outlets (or even they themselves) published leaked classified information? I mean, according to the case law, he can yank someone's security clearance in retaliation for 1A activity.

Our new cat Biscuit is a bit of an escape artist. He wants to be an outside cat and is very envious of the fact that the dogs get to go outside and he doesn't (and never will). He occasionally gets out. We get him back eventually, but nobody is happy. Today, however, was hilariously inevitable.
