I'd say I found this shocking but a lot of folks, very understandably furious with a system that is Big Rigged, get angry at anything that even halfway resembles it. But yelling at somebody who lost both parents in extremely tragic circumstances because their dad once worked in TV does nothing.

Exactly this. I talk a bit about this in the latest episode of @youaregood.bsky.social. I know people who have millions of Instagram followers who have roommates. Everybody I know in the industry is - at best - making half of what they were making 5 years ago. It's a fucking mess.

One time I saw Jerry Only on a plane. He was wearing a Misfits shirt. I said, "I love your shirt." He said "Thanks! It's my band!" And I said "I know, Jerry." In similar spirit today I saw Bill Moseley out and about in the neighborhood wearing a Three From Hell shirt. Nice dude.
