The court is basically saying that knowledge of the victim being trans is potentially exculpatory for a self defense legal claim. This is explicitly greenlighting the panic defense and saying a victims trans status might excuse a murder.

Much of the cheaper foods are ultraprocessed. Therefore before we urge everyone to avoid them we must advocate for an economic system that makes the non processed foods more affordable and/or increase the average person’s affordability. We can’t call the first public health and the second political.

A victory for the government in this case would greenlight long-term mass civil detention at a level not seen since Japanese internment during WWII. It would represent the largest change in how the US treats immigrants facing removal since 1996, and remind us again that the 96 law must be erased.

This will be one of the most important immigration cases in a generation. The Trump admin claims that a 1996 law mandates the detention of millions of people without any right to a bond hearing; every person who entered illegally, no matter how long in the past. If they win, it's a nightmare.

There is a strong argument to be made that the super-billionaires need to be downsized by a wealth tax in addition to the income tax they already (mostly don't) pay (that should also be increased. One Economist proposed a measly 2%. Why not 10% or even 20% - A YEAR until their wealth drops
