This is why the Vanderbilt/WashU report cannot be understood apart from both institutions‘ massive investments in AI. Their leaders needed to discredit those disciplines and forms of knowledge asking hard questions about the cultural, social, political, and environmental costs of AI.

Thanks @thejerpano.bsky.social for the chance to write about #informationwarfare in the C19. Similarities between tactics in the 1830s and 2020s is pretty incredible. Instead of #AI and #socialmedia its newspapers and voluntary associations, but the deceptions and harms remain pretty consistent.

This is the population I try hardest to reach. Last season’s shot cut hospitalization risk by 53–59% and ER/urgent care visits by 48%. In terms of how sick people get with Covid, sniffles to hospitalization to death exist along a continuum… so if updated shots are clearly bending the
