Amanda Blanc, CEO of Aviva, said 110,000 homes had been built in flood areas in the past 10 years, and if that continued, a further 115,000 new homes would be built in flood areas in the next decade. “That doesn’t seem to me to make sense. We need to think about where those homes are being built.”
