Printed four copies but only three covers. And then messed up the crop/bleed on those covers and had to go back to manual measuring. But I still got two copies stapled and cut! Not bad for ~$7, and the first story I’ve made a hard copy of.

Two fully-assembled and stapled copies of “An Image In Mind” along with an unassembled copy with a too-small cover and another copy without a cover. They are laid out over a paper cutter and a right-angle stapler on a dark wood table.

Re: gigs: Phoebe Bridgers did a tour of surprise shows at small venues this summer: each show was announced day-of and with in-person ticketing only. She came to my city, and by the time the box office opened the line was multiple blocks long in the direct sunlight.

No lie, this film was really huge IMO for actually showing Sunset Shimmer's shift from villain to hero—including the way she was treated by the other characters—and making it believable.

It's understandable for people to be deeply upset about this, because the framing of this summary card is really misstating the scope and implication of the ruling. The actual ruling is narrowly drawn (and caused by several really bad choices the prosecution made in prosecution!)

As I griped about here AT LENGTH last year, this is the company that replaced their help site with an AI chatbot, then made a policy change that broke memberships with no way to get any details and a chatbot that didn’t know the product.

CW: suggestive, TF had a dream in which I saw a movie with friends about a global alien TF pandemic. It was actually pretty violent, but those transformed were sapient and peaceful - it was humanity that couldn't tolerate it. Then we went to a restaurant which had special "promotional" drinks...

A shiny purple alien with a cobra-like hood, snail-like headstalks, and many tentacles sliding a glass of a bright green-and-blue beverage towards the viewer and giving them a coy look. They are saying, "This form would suit you well, no? Use the hotplate, it's better warm.~" It's implied that this beverage transforms humans into these creatures.
