with the help of a friend i finally scheduled a consultation with a psychologist as a first step towards getting an adhd screening if literally everything i've read + everything i've heard from friends diagnosed with adhd is accurate there's like... a 99% chance. it would explain so much

So... uhhh... Funny story. I was checking out a new club recently, with a very "transformative" atmosphere with refreshments like none other. The denizens were quite accommodating and promised a service that was out of this world. (Thanks @ktcmoop.bsky.social for the wonderful species concept!)

Me at Gaying Mantis's dream-crafted bar/club, having just transformed into one of the squishy, squidlike alien creatures the club is host to by the Shirley Temple I'd been drinking which is now held in a tentacle instead of a hand. In my new body, I observe: "Oh my goodnes... I guess even the soft drinks here are transformative... The question is... How do I even get home now that I look like this?" After a moment, I add "...Maybe they're hiring..."

A 4-part piece of a brown-skinned dude getting transformed into a large tentacle alien after drinking a special drink. The first part shows him in awe of another alien, who is holding him up. "I still can't believe aliens exist... How does having that many tentacles even feel?", says the man, not knowing his transformation had already started. The purple alien responds: "I think it's best if you just see for yourself~". Before he can answer, his face begins to shift and change into that of the alien that's holding him. He begins to say "What do you mea- wh... what is... happening...?", and the alien responds "Don't worry about it~". As the man finishes his transformation, the alien says "Just... breathe in... calm down... and... LET GO~". The man yelps in surprise as the parts that were being held back by his psyche shoot outwards as he accepts his new form. The last panel shows the man, now fully turned into an alien, having also ripped a little of his shirt due to him slightly growing, saying "Wait, so am I just stuck as an alien now?". The alien responds "Relax hot stuff. Look at the bright side, you've never looked more handsome than now~". He begins to say "It's fine, it's just really sudden-" before realizing what the other alien just said. "-did you just call me 'hot stuff'?", he asks.

CW: suggestive, TF had a dream in which I saw a movie with friends about a global alien TF pandemic. It was actually pretty violent, but those transformed were sapient and peaceful - it was humanity that couldn't tolerate it. Then we went to a restaurant which had special "promotional" drinks...

A shiny purple alien with a cobra-like hood, snail-like headstalks, and many tentacles sliding a glass of a bright green-and-blue beverage towards the viewer and giving them a coy look. They are saying, "This form would suit you well, no? Use the hotplate, it's better warm.~" It's implied that this beverage transforms humans into these creatures.
