It's not a conscious thing. Men don't think they see women as inferior, or believe that they take women less seriously. But women are "different", you know? Men are a certain way, women are a certain way. Women are just wired differently, like, biologically. They have a different "purpose".

Men's entitlement to extracting sex from women at any cost (to the woman), ignoring all signs of distress or pain or inability to actively participate, doesn't come from some abstract "biological" cause but a culture that reinforces sex as a woman's only function. We have not progressed past that.

I think cis people do not understand that when we say “this will harm trans people” it’s because we are in communities that is constantly doing collective suicide watch for each other, and most of us know multiple people that did not make it. if we say “this will harm kids” we mean “kids will die”
