hi, white dood playing devil's advocate because peoples struggles are theoretical to me. fun to debate their right to equality. while here, I would like to center my voice and perspectives about a cause that means nothing to me. i'm here to take up all the oxygen in the room and exhaust people who are trying to fight against injustice so that we can maintain the status quo which serves me. I have no interest in learning. your frustration is my ultimate goal. let's engage

Down to Cornwall to visit my parents Waiting for the ferry and there's a menacing bank of cloud on the western bank of the Tamar shaking its fist in my face Shame. The glorious sunshine all the way here has persuaded me to stop for a swim. Not gonna be what I was expecting
Cars queuing for the ferry into Cornwall below a bank of cloud, in turn below glorious blue sky

Brexit, the Sitcom Mr Brexit no longer enjoys life as Europe’s most divorced man. Rooting for his phone amongst the discarded cans he texts his ex wife to tell her he’s willing to move back in with her but there will have to be changes. She will have to change. He stares at the phone waiting.

How I feel right now about the British/ 🇬🇧English( whatever) political landscape is that some one wrapped in a Union Jack could whack me over the head with a flag pole & the BBC would shove a microphone in my face asking why I provoked the attacker & the Home Sec would invite the attacker for tea .

Piece on R4 Today about military recruitment. Interesting point not picked up was that 'while we might not want to admit it, the economy is helping recruitment figures' Wonder what that does for productivity Also thinking of the disproportionate number of vets I saw in prison and now at foodbanks

I've got a plan Tuvalu becomes a massive tax haven with an optional non-extradition policy for wrong-uns Watch the billionaires flock in and then realise that climate change is going to wipe it out Either we lose them all or they pivot and invest in slowing climate change Win-win

Anna Foster on R4 Today is brilliant She comes across as a team player with no ego Listening as she fetches water and empathises with a speaker with a cough. And real sympathy for John Finnimore losing a close friend Notable in what usually feels like a cleverest soundbite competition

Four-panel comic credited to (seemingly defunct) VectorBelly.com, interviewer in a top hat and a cat in a vaguely American Football-style uniform.

"You were sportsing pretty hard out there. A lot of sports happened. Why do you think you lost?"

"We sportsed out best and scored points, but the other team was sportsing, too, and they scored even more points."

"What's your strategy for the next match?"

"We need to stop the other team scoring points while we ourselves score many points."

"Now back to the studio for ten hours of sports analysis."

"My income is higher than most countries."
