Sorry women who survive abuse don't talk about it on your preferred timeline and would sometimes prefer not to talk about it at all but feel forced to do so because they feel a moral urgency as they watch their abusers get platformed even though they know they're going to get horrific backlash.

I mostly watched horror by myself as a kid, but I have very fond memories of seeing some of my favorite slasher movies for the first time at slumber parties. I watched FRIDAY THE 13TH on my bed with my best friend and we both screamed so loudly at the ending that my dad came up to check on us.
