CEO Dan Clancy says Twitch now uses AI to identify streamers that may not match a brand, since it now transcribes all streams for brand safety. It won't show ads on channels or content the AI believes don't match what the advertiser is trying to achieve.

Does anyone have advice on how to navigate Twitch Support? I've now had 6 emails with them, where I try to explain that a feature/a few sections of my Twitch settings are gone now, and they reply with the generic help article on how to navigate the settings LITERALLY NOT PRESENT in my settings.

FYI the HUGE number of AI slop at GamesCom's opening night live is not a sign that the industry has normalized AI. It's a ploy to make you believe that. These games are all by the same 3 or 4 publishers. This is a concerted effort to make consumers accept AI.

While the slop wave of AI games on Steam grows to nearly 1/3rd of games released this year on the platform, the review counts show that over 64% of them fade into total obscurity with less than 10 player reviews & many sitting at 0 There's a lot yes, but nobody is playing the vast majority of them

A comparison of two charts showing total steam game releases per year from 2006 to 2026 growing to over 20,000 games per year against a chart showing how many of those were either submitted with AI disclosures or updated after the fact to include an AI disclosure after patches/updates. AI generated games have only really exploded in the last 3 years with almost zero presence before that & growing to nearly 6000 of this years games so far

A telling image showing how prevalent these AI games actually are by showing how many reviews these games specifically have received with this year showing that of the 5,866 games with AI disclosures submitted to steam that 3,776 (64%) of them have either zero reviews or at most 9 from people who've played them, showing that their reach is incredibly limited despite how many there are.
