took a lot of the night to get the tools going but the quest 2 games are backed up and FramePort worked! Compatibility's low rn, I literally only got RE4 to port in. Unity games like Apex Construct and Zombieland ain't going. And it's not needed but I really enjoy First Contact and it don't work :(

With a lack of games media jobs in the space right now... if you want to get started just start. Start a blog, start a YouTube channel, do whatever and just start putting your thoughts out there about games or stuff. Don't wait around for opportunities, go just attempt to make it happen.

The #SteamFrame actually feels transformative to me, just the act of getting in and out of the headset is so much smoother than any of the headsets I've used so far. Getting games working has been the real fun, and discovering each game's quirks for both standalone and my desktop.

I want games with more blatant credits. I want voice actors names posted on screen when we first meet a character. I want a way to see art galleries in game for visuals with the names next to them. I want the music and artist in the corner when a song starts. Be LOUD about the game's team.

as a dev, i've never begrudged pirates, because i grew up poor and pirated as well these are future customers if their financial circumstances change. they're not the enemy. and it costs more to fight them than to just lower prices (or do sales) and try to convert folks to paid customers

In 1990, Wells American, a failing North Carolina PC clone-maker, tried to market a 68030 add-on board for the Mac II called "MegaMac." It advertised the MegaMac at a "list price" of $78,495 but promised a $70,000 discount if you actually bought one. Six months later, Wells filed for bankruptcy.

A full-page ad from the August 1990 issue of MacWorld for Wells American's MegaMac. The ad describes the MegaMac as "The Ultimate Macintosh Desk Accessory," and promises to "knock off" $70,000 from the $78,495 price listed at the top of the ad.
