I love Timothée. And I definitely hate false humility. So I'll go along and applaud him for this. But I also hope this is an isolated thing because I also think celebrities, artists in general should display humility. He deserves accolades, I just hope he receives them with humility.

Thoughts on Emilia Pérez: it's great to see a phenomenal performance from a trans actress. But the way they chose to depict the trans experience seemed regressive and gave me the ick. It's embarrassing as a queer person to have something like this getting showered with award nominations.
