Relatedly, if anyone knows someone at @novartis.bsky.social (manufacturer of Ilaris/canakimumab, the drug I need but cannot get!), or Anthem (the insurer refusing access) or their pharmacy benefits manager (Navitus) who might be able to move this process along, that would be very helpful. :)

Don’t think it sucks. Can’t think of a better working system in practice. The consolidation of power and resources at a global scale into the hands of a few though should be concerning to all. The US can’t even reliably launch rockets to space without the assistance of a kindly oligarch.

OpEd Rating: ⭐️⭐️ 1. They are *a lot* of the system 2. If it’s broken, quite likely *they* broke it 3. They need to stand down on AI denials until they “fix” the tech 4. Listen to families, they could learn a lot I await UHCs surrender, patiently.
